Make your own tasty and HEALTHY salad dressings!

Eating a salad can be a great way to get some of the essential nutrients that your body needs, reduce your caloric intake and stay healthy!  The usual salad ingredients are full of fiber and water.  As a result, they'll cause you to feel a wee bit fuller so you'll likely need less of a main course to complete your meal.
However, those store bought salad dressings can quickly sabotage your health and fitness efforts.  They're quite often full of unnecessary (hidden) sugars, fat, chemicals and preservatives.

So, for years now, I've been experimenting with various recipes for making my own dressings. They're usually quite simple, quick to put together and not all that much harder than simply reaching into the fridge for that store-bought bottle, but MUCH healthier.

In the past, we've shared some great alternative burger recipes with you. Since we've been experiencing such a great summer, which means that more people are probably using their BBQ's more, we thought it was an opportune time to revisit some of our favourites.

But, remember, these recipes are not meant to be followed too rigidly. I'd rather inspire you to experiment. So, please feel free to switch up the ingredients, or mix and match ideas, to suit your tastes.
Next Boot Camp Training Session

Our next Boot Camp Training Session starts next week on Monday, July 25th.  Please join us! 

We offer morning and evening classes with Mon/Wed and/or Tues/Thurs options.  And, o ur boot camp classes are kept small so you get more of the one-on-one attention you deserve and need.

All our classes enjoy an array of different styles of exercising including cardio (this includes power walking) and strength training with weights and other equipment.  We mix it up (along with working out at different locations) to keep it interesting and, yes, challenging.   I want you to feel good about your workout and feel strong and want more!

Mix and match classes to fit your schedule and get in at least 2 to 3 workouts per week!  But, i f you don't feel you can commit to set classes each week, we also offer some drop-in options as well.  And, remember, if our group Boot Camp classes aren't for you, we also offer an array of  Personal Training options  too.

If you're interested in  any  of these options, or want to mix them up, please contact the office for details on a program that will work for you!

There will never be a better time than NOW to make the commitment to invest in your health and fitness!  It's never too late to start and its never too late to try something new to you.
