Making St. Margaret's a Place to Gather and Grow
"My father always said, 'When you give, give first to the places that made you.  Then give to the places that make others.' ... St. Margaret's is a place that is making me and will continue to make me into the person God wants me to be. ... When I give to this church, I know I'm maintaining the legacy of the people St. Margaret's made in the past and I'm giving to the people St. Margaret's will be making in the future." -Farar Elliott (St. Margaret's member)

Looking to the year ahead, I am very excited about what I see happening at St. Margaret's Church. As you probably know, our 2018 Stewardship theme is "Making a Place to Gather and Grow," and our goal is to build on St. Margaret's' strong tradition of hospitality as a welcoming spiritual home - a place where people can continue their faith journeys.

Of course, St. Margaret's Church is already a place to gather and grow, and has been for years. Through our outstanding worship and music, our children and youth programs, and our outreach ministries, including the annual Rummage Sale, and Charlie's Place, we touch the lives of countless people and bear witness to God's love in the world. That is what makes St. Margaret's such a special church community. In the upcoming year, though, we hope to take our work and ministry to the next level.

We ask your help in making this all happen. We ask your help in Making St Margaret's a Place to Gather and Grow.

As you pray about your pledge, we ask you to consider the ways St. Margaret's has made a safe place for you to explore your faith, and contemplate what you can give to help our community continue to be a place that makes Jesus' witness of love real in our broken world. The information in the this giving packet explains how to make a pledge and offers examples of an appropriate amount to pledge.

On St. Margaret's Day, November 12th at 10 a.m.,  we will be having a very special service of celebration and in-gathering of the pledges. We ask you to join us for church and bring your commitment form (located on the last page of the packet).

St. Margaret's makes us, and together, we make St. Margaret's the church. Your gift makes it possible for us to continue Making a Place to Gather and Grow.
