Pre-orders for the 2018 Cookie Sale Program begin
December 1
That's right! Girls can begin taking Girl Scout Cookie orders on their order cards on December 1. If your daughter is participating in the 2018 Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program and has not received her order card yet, we ask you to reach out to your daughter's Troop Leader.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest financial literacy program for girls in the country. Through their participation, girls learn how to set goals and how to achieve them. This is the time when the troop needs to get together and set their troop goals, develop budgets and brainstorm together on ways to reach their goals. Cookie time is most visible when the girls are out selling the delicious cookies, but the planning stage begins now, and parents are the most important part of the program. So reach out to your Troop Leader and lend a hand. There are many ways in which you can help and support your Girl Scout during the Cookie Sale. Check out these Top 10 Cookie Customer facts and selling tips here.

Dates to Remember:
December 1: Order taking with the girl order card may begin
December 10: Girls are now able to set-up and access their Digital Cookie online store
December 15: The Digital Cookie Program launches
January 13-15: The Cookies arrive
January 18: The Cookie Sale begins
February 4: Bailout Day - make sure to stay in touch with your Troop Leader if you have any issues with the cookies you ordered. Past this date - the Troop has to pay Council for all cookies the troop has on hand.
February 11: The Cookie Sale ends - last day for cookie booths and walk-about sales.

Please honor the Girl Scout Promise by being honest and fair and not starting the door-to-door sale until the official beginning of the sale on January 18.

Let's have a fun, empowering and Turtle-y amazing 2018 Cookie Sale Program!

Meet the 2018 TURTLE-y Awesome Cookie Mascot
The 2018 Cookie Sale Program mascot wants you to have a totally amazing cookie season. Meet your totally turtle-y awesome mascot here and see how she transforms into your cookie friend.

This year's mascot can be an inspiration to your troop to learn about sea turtles and add another layer of fun to the Cookie Sale Program. Did you know that Florida is one of the worlds preferred natural habitats for sea turtles?

There are many local organizations and programs dedicated to educating the public about sea turtles and the dangers humans pose to their environment.  You can plan a trip to one of the many facilities throughout our council where sea turtles are studied and helped; go to the beach to find sea turtle tracks or choose a project that will help the sea turtles and help make the world a better place for them.
