  • Trace the process of a team's development, from its inception to its fully functioning stage.

  • Follow a systematic "Intervention Model" for responding to challenges with team members.
Managing Effective Teams
A CT Road Scholar ELECTIVE Workshop
This workshop examines techniques foremen can use to turn a collection of individuals into an efficient, high-performing team that remains productive and serves its community well.
Who Should Attend
This program is designed for any state or local personnel who have supervisory responsibilities. Highway Superintendents, Road Foremen, Crew Leaders, and Directors of Public Works are encouraged to attend.  
Course Instructor
Our instructor, Rockie Blunt, is president of Blunt Consulting Group, a Massachusetts firm that offers management training and consulting services to Public Works Departments and Departments of Transportation in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. He has built a reputation as a lively speaker who delivers informative seminars.
