A Day of Thinking Big: 1st Annual Emerging Leaders United Conference

More than 100 young professionals and 25 presenters/ELU Conference 2012 panelists spent the day learning, sharing and networking on February 23 at the Mt. Washington Conference Center for our first ever Emerging Leaders United (ELU) Conference. The mission of our ELU group (donors 40 and under who give $260+ annually) is to cultivate young leaders today to advance the community tomorrow -- and the conference was proof positive that the next generation of leaders in our community is here! Keynote speaker Thomas Roberts of MSNBC inspired the crowd with stories of his path to success, and breakout sessions focused on public speaking, building your personal brand, work/life balance and more gave attendees the opportunity for small-group discussions. Thanks to everyone who participated, and of course, our sponsors: Wells Fargo, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Ellin & Tucker, Chartered, Legg Mason and Murthy Law Firm
