Duke Choir in Concert THIS Friday Night at 7:00 p.m.
Join us as we host the Duke University Choir on their spring break tour. We have an amazing series planned for this year. You can click here for all the details.
Dr. J.T. Edwards Chapel at The Culpeper
We announced at the March 4 concert that the chapel at The Culpeper will be named for Dr. J. T. Edwards, our pastor, who founded this ministry over 70 years ago. There will be a plaque in the chapel recognizing his work and Culpeper Baptist Church.  Jonathan Cook, CEO of Lifespire, said during his remarks that Culpeper Baptist gave us "our identity, purpose and mission." We are grateful that the legacy of Dr. J.T. Edwards and our church will continue in The Culpeper's new chapel.
Dinner Groups Starting NEXT Wednesday
Would you like to get to know the people in our church? How about a chance to socialize and have conversations with others? Would you like a monthly night out in a local restaurant or someone’s home? Then, perhaps, you would like to join the Culpeper Baptist Dinner Groups. We will begin this spring with groups consisting of 8 to 10 people. Our Dinner Groups’ Launch will be on Wednesday, March 21 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the Courtyard or Worship Center of the church. All are welcome to join this informational meeting. Food will be available for purchase from local vendors. Contact Ann Lucas, Vita McCall or the church office for more info.
CDC Expansion - Demo work has begun!
We experienced another breakthrough in the last two weeks - 91 preschoolers are currently enrolled in our CDC! That is the highest total during Amy Martin's tenure. In addition, we have over 75 children enrolled in our after school program. We have already filled the baby and toddler rooms for this Fall, and our overall preschool registrations for the Fall are high! Thank you for sharing about our CDC around the community!
Demolition started this week. There is a lot of activity (and noise!) on the 2nd floor. Our church office might be closed from time to time since the demolition is happening right above us! The 2nd floor is a construction zone until we open it again at the end of July.

Hopeful Imagination
We continue to share, talk and pray about Hopeful Imagination. More people are reading the book, and we are sharing testimonies in worship services and small groups to keep the conversation moving. Let's keep asking, "What needs to change in me for our church to be effective on mission?" We look forward to praying, sharing and sensing God's leadership together as we move into a hopeful future.
