Learn to Crochet a Baby Blanket!  Saturday, March 8, 11-1 p.m. Instruction Fee:  $20. Made with simple crochet stitches suited for beginners this blanket is a perfect starting point for newbies!  While we have many yarn options, we chose Cotton Fleece because of it's softness, plentiful colorways, and wash-ability.  This blanket is fun and fast!  You'll leave class with the know-how to finish this at home. Pre-registration required.
Needle Felting Workshop.  Saturday,
March 29, 9:00 a.m.-noon.  Class Fee: $30. Fiber Kit Fee:  $34.95 (makes 2 vessels).  
Learn the basics of wet needle felting as we create these beautiful fiber vessels (which make great yarn bowls by the way!) adorned with silk cocoons!  No prior experience is necessary. Pre-registration required.

Learn this technique (where all seams are machine sewn) from Joanne Sandahl of Butterfly Express.  A kit of eight fat quarters and 4 squares of batting is included in the class fee. Students of all skill levels are welcome.  Bring your own machine or sign-up to use one of ours (2 machines available on first sign-up basis). Pre-registration required.

Drop Stitch Shawl featured in our February newsletter underway in Khata, a yak/silk blend. Uber soft with a gorgeous sheen and deep, saturated colors.  If you only buy one yarn this Spring....let it be this one!

 
 
 
Hermoine Socks underway in American Brand yarn, made from Rambouillet sheep grazing in Montana to Texas, spun in Pennsylvania, and prepared in North Carolina.  It has outstanding stitch definition and a linen-type feel.  

   

BEGINNER'S LESSONS 
We offer beginning knit, crochet, and sewing lessons on an individual basis. Private lessons are arranged at your convenience and at a reasonable hourly fee of $25.  Please call 619-284-7684 to arrange a time.
SUSAN'S MARCH SHOP HOURS:  If you need expert help selecting yarns, I would love to be of assistance.  I plan on being in the shop at least these days:  March 3, 6-9, 11&12, 20-23, 25 & 26, and 31.
