March Art Exhibit:
"Beyond Borders"
March 3 - 30
A multi-generational and multimedia exhibit by a mother/daughter and grandmother/granddaughter team of artists. See 2- and 3-dimensional works using fiber, acrylic, collage, printing, ink, and graphite.
Artists' Reception Thurs., March 26 from 6-8 PM. All welcome!

Intro to 3D Printing
* Registration required *
Join library director Patricia Cirone at the main library on Thursday, March 12 or Tuesday, April 7 for an introduction to the basics of working with the library's MakerBot Replicator. Workshops run from 6:30 - 8:30 PM in the Sohier Room, and are required if you wish to use the printer independently. Downloading and designing basics using Thingiverse, Tinkercad and SketchUp software are also covered. Laptops/devices welcome. Open to ages 10 +.

"International Women's Day"

The main library is pleased to host an exhibit of international posters related to Women's History Month and International Women's Day (March 8) during the month of March. Opera: The First Broadway
Are you a lifelong fan of opera, or is it a newly discovered fascination? Either way, you're invited to join a friendly group of kindred spirits at the main library for an 8-week course that explores eight operas: some old standards, and others lesser known. The course is taught by John Tischio, and the group will meet weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 PM begining March 18.
