Nowadays we all seem to be connected via various social networks. It is nice to reconnect with old friends, connect with those who share the same interests as well as gain new contacts in our work world. It's also a two-edged sword because what you put out there in the cyber world can keep you from attaining your dream job; in fact, it can keep you from getting into the school you want. It pays to be aware of what your social footprint is and how it might be perceived.
