With our first few beautiful spring days comes the need for a new project and a new yarn to start off the season! Please stop by the shop soon to see all of the beautiful yarn we have in store for you. We would also be very happy to help you find the perfect project to start this spring.

March  Sit & Stitch
Don't forget to bring a completed project and the details of construction to "Show-N-Tell" for an extra 15% off of your purchase that evening only. T he project must be made from Yarn Nook yarn. P lease also provide the name of the yarn used, needle size, pattern name, etc.

Ladies, remember that Knit Night is a great time to get together with our fellow fiber junkies and visit and share ideas. Bring "mindless" knitting so you can enjoy the  conversations without the fear of messing up a complicated pattern. We all know its hard to concentrate when we are having a good time! 

Sit & Stitch Wednesdays:
March 2nd,  16th and 30th

March  Crochet-a-long (CAL)
Michele Coker will host a crochet-a-long on March 9th and 16th (10:30am - 12:30pm). We will be crocheting a comfy and fun pair of socks!

J oin Michele for this CAL and get 10% off all of your supplies for the project (not to be combined with any other sale).
March  Knit-a-long (KAL)
Join us on Thursdays in March (10am - 12pm) to knit the Alethea scarf in Berroco's beautiful Mykonos yarn.  This luxurious scarf can be dressed up for a night on the town or can be worn with your favorite pair of jeans ~ the possibilities are endless. The scarf is knit on the bias and can be knit to any length.

 Classes & Workshops

Class Information

You must pre-register for all classes and pre-pay to hold your spot in the class. Class sizes are limited and if no one has signed up within 24 hours of the class, it will be canceled. Supplies for classes must be purchased from Yarn Nook.

Year Long Afghan 2 ~ Block 12 (Intarsia), $30
Saturday, March 5th, 11am -1pm
This is our LAST square! The goal of this class is to learn to knit intarsia from a charted pattern. Please call the shop to sign up. Taught by  Bridget Borne.

Beginner Crochet Class, $30
Friday, March 11th, 10am - 12pm
Have you always wanted to learn to crochet, or are you a knitter who would like to use crochet stitches to add beautiful edgings and embellishments to your knitted pieces? This class is for you ~ join us to learn something new and fun! Taught by Michele Coker.

Create Your Own Knitting, Crochet or Weaving Class
This class is for anyone from the beginner who wants to learn the basics to the advanced student who would like help tackling a specific project. If you would like to schedule a group or a one-on-one lesson please call the shop ~ we will be glad to schedule a lesson at your convenience.
