Volunteer at the Qualicum Beach Visitor Centre!

Our Visitor Centre is gearing up for another busy tourist season.
You may not know, but we depend upon the generosity of volunteers to act as Qualicum Beach ambassadors and to make our visitors feel welcome.

If you have a few hours a week to share your love of our region, have an outgoing friendly personality and enjoy meeting new people - this opportunity might just be for you!

For more information about volunteering at the Visitor's Centre contact Paige at  info@qualicum.bc.ca  or 250-752-9532. Or just drop by and check us out! We would love to see you at the Visitor's Centre!

The 12th Annual Art from the Attic Sale: April 1 to 8
Do you have paintings you no longer love? Sell them in our sale!

The Art from the Attic Sale is one of The Old School House Arts Centre's most popular events. April 1 will mark the Twelfth Anniversary sale at TOSH and everyone is a winner with this sale: bring in your paintings or prints or lithographs or photographs to sell in the art gallery on Saturday, April 1 between 9:30 and noon. You get 60% and TOSH gets 40% of each piece sold. Each painting needs an entry form which is currently available at the front desk or can be filled out when you bring in your artwork on April 1 and a $1.00 registration fee.
Early Bird Registration is $5.00 and must be prearranged by calling 250-752-6133
If you love art fairs and you love a good bargain, this is the show for you!  Y ou are sure to find something special and unique from among the quality artwork being presented at the Art from the Attic Sale. The sale will begin the moment the painting hits the wall Saturday afternoon April 1 and runs until April 8. However, on April 5 the art work will receive further markdowns and by the last days you can make offers.
In the past sales we have featured paintings from well-known artists to favourite locals. We have had over 200 pieces at each sale priced from $5.00 to $2,500.00 with the most popular price point set under $200. There will be works of art in oil, acrylic, watercolour and pastel depicting a variety of themes such as floral, landscape, abstract or representational showcased.
