Easter Communion Chapel Is April 11
On Wednesday, April 11, we will be flowering the cross before the start of our Easter Eucharist at 11 a.m. That morning, please send your child with a flower from your garden to place on the cross and help us celebrate Easter with this colorful symbol of life. This is a chapel dress day.
At Canterbury School, all are welcome to receive communion. If you have not been baptized or do not feel comfortable receiving communion, you may come to Chaplain Hunter for a blessing. If you'd like to receive communion, you simply hold your hands out, palms up, in front of you. If you prefer a blessing, approach with your arms across your chest. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Chaplain Hunter.

"Families" Event Today
Canterbury families will meet today, Thursday, March 29, from 2:30-3:10 p.m. We will send our community out to spring break on a high note by creating some thank you cards to be delivered along with donuts to area first responders. Our students both can recognize our local heroes and enjoy being with their multi-grade families as a way to begin spring break. Please note that if you need to collect your children early today, you should plan to sign them out before 2:15 p.m. Later than that and they will be dispersed throughout campus to family locations and difficult to track down until we all re-gather in Phillips for carpool.
Glass Jars Needed For Science
Found a box of mason jars while spring cleaning in Granny's basement? The Canterbury science department will take them - any number, any size, with or without lids! Upcycle food safe glass jars and lids by dropping them off on Ashley Meyer's desk in the lower school science room located in Ketner.
Long Live The King And Queen!
Thank you to the Pope and Reich families, who bought Carpool King and Queen rights at the Feb. 9 Roaring 20s Auction. That means they rule carpool for a year and are the only parents who can park ahead of the afternoon carpool line along the sidewalk where morning lower school carpool takes place. For a reminder of the carpool rules of the land,
click here. These rules exist to keep our students safe at all times. Thanks for following them.
Come Hear An Eighth Grade Sermon
Eighth grade sermons are an important part of a Canterbury education. Eighth graders weave together what they've learned, including writing clearly, speaking in public, sharing spiritual learning, and demonstrating leadership. These sermons always have a heartfelt and timely message.
