Diablo magazine's Best of the East Bay voting has begun!

Early Bird Tickets Now Available for Taste of Lafayette!

Lafayette’s favorite dinner party, the Taste of Lafayette, will be held on Tuesday May 15, 5:30pm-9pm. Start at the Taste Pavilion, near the Bank of the West in Downtown Lafayette, for a hosted reception with music, appetizers, wine and beer. Then stroll down Lafayette’s Restaurant Row, savoring samplings from 25+ restaurants. Get your tickets before they are sold out! Early bird tickets only available through April 30.

2018 Diablo Valley Mayor’s Summit – Sponsorships Available

Along with the Concord, Martinez, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek Chambers, the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a partner for this year’s 2018 Diablo Valley Mayor’s Summit with Special Guests Assemblymember Tim Grayson and Contra Costa County Supervisor- Karen Mitchoff. Mayor’s Edi Birsan from Concord, Rob Schroder from Martinez, Tim Flaherty from Pleasant Hill, Justin Wedel from Walnut Creek and our own Don Tatzin will make up the panel discussion. The event will be held at the Contra Costa Country Club, 801 Golf Club Rd., Pleasant Hill from 11:30am -1:30pm. Tickets for the luncheon are $50 per person for chamber members and $60 for non-members. Sponsorships are offered to chamber members at $1,500 and include a reserved table of 10, priority seating, logo in pre-promotion, program and acknowledgement on the day of the event. If you are interested, please give Sara a call at (925) 284-7404.
Order Your Own Lafayette Flag!
In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the City of Lafayette, the City is offering flags with the City logo on them. Two sizes, 3x5 feet and 5x8 feet. See attached form for cost and ordering information.

Flags are digitally printed with the Lafayette City logo printed in color on a white background on heavy nylon, bound around the perimeter and fitted with brass grommets on one end. The flag has about a one year outdoor life span on a pole. Deadline to order is Tuesday, April 3. Personal delivery in 3 to 4 weeks. 60th annual Rotary Career Night

As business and community leaders, Senator Steve Glazer is reaching out to you for your help in identifying nominees for California’s 7th Senate District’s “Salute to Small Business” Winner. 2018 A Runner's Mind Jig and Jog

Registration for the 2018 A Runner's Mind Jig and Jog is now open! This year, we're shaking things up a bit, introducing a whole new way to race! The Jig and Jog is a prediction-style race that puts the fun back in racing. Runners will provide their "predicted" finishing time prior to the start. We are accepting exhibitor space reservations now for our 3rd annual Bay Area Kids' Book Fairs on the April 7-8 weekend in Silicon Valley (Saturday in Sunnyvale) and the East Bay (Sunday in Lafayette). AARP Free Tax Assistance

IRS-certified AARP Tax-Aide volunteers provide free tax preparation for low-moderate income Contra Costa County residents. This service is offered to people of all ages, with special attention to those 50+. One appointment per tax return can be scheduled.
