I've been a club member a long time. Decades actually ... and I've never seen an agenda quite like the General Membership Meeting for next Friday, March 16th!

First off, we're celebrating St. Patrick's Day! Not that our members need an excuse to drink green beer ... but hey it's a day for the Irish. All sailors are Irish, right?

Menu being served is corned beef with cabbage, potatoes and carrots; shamrock pasta and Irish soda bread. Cost is $12.00 per person and reservations are still being taken. (Trust me the soda bread is worth the ticket price by itself).

After an amazing Irish meal, it's Charles Canby, a naval architect, and his story of raising a Russian submarine. The flyer with all the details is to the right. Click it for the PDF download.

Please also note, that we don't often hear from our beloved Commodore in our Weekly Reader. But when we do, it's of the utmost importance. See below ... They've got a few openings for the Spring Fishing Trip. :)

Enjoy the week...

The Spring fishing trip is coming up on 4/29. This should be an awesome trip based on our last two outings. Currently we have six spots open.

In the spirit of trying to rev up our Sunset Saturday bar participation, we are now asking fleets to "host" a Sunset Saturday. This weekend, the Tempest Fleet will be the first to host our Sunset Saturday. They'll be bringing an appetizer dish to share with all, and the Club will be providing a luscious gourmet cheese platter as well.

See you there! Thank you!
