 How To Incorporate Pussy Willow Into
Your Home
Add pussy willow branches to an existing wreath or create a pussy willow wreath.
Add pussy willow to a bouquet of flowers or a potted flower arrangement.
How To Preserve Your Pussy Willow Branches
Keep your pussy willow in a container of water until you have reached your desired bud size. Once you remove the branches from water, they will stop growing.
Allow the willow branches to slowly dry in a cool, dry place. Some people prefer to hang their branches in a closet, keeping them out of direct sunlight. Another option is to set the branches in a dry vase, allowing the branches to stand upright. Depending on the light and humidity levels in your home it could take up to 2 weeks to completely dry out your branches. Once your branches have dried they will feel brittle and stiff.
