Student of the Month!
Elissa H. Buxbaum

"Tap dancing has been part of my journey of coming home to NYC and back to the things I love, but didn't prioritize for myself - right up there with fedoras, 90's dancehall, and pierogies! My day job also feeds a life-long passion for social justice. I help college administrators across the U.S. prevent and respond to hate incidents ... But I get to do it from NYC now.  Lucky me  :-)  NYC, with the greatest of everything - including tap friends!

And now I will spend my last 50 words expressing my deepest appreciation to all of my teachers.  Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you - how many is that?  In all seriousness, I am so inspired and I feel cared for. I will continue to honor the people who came before me, and to work my hardest each day.  xxoo."  Elissa
