IFFS Durham Staff with WRAL_s David Crabtree and NBC_s Lester Holt
Our good friend David Crabtree (WRAL) brought Lester Holt (NBC Nightly News) by IFFS Durham operations at Bull City Cool last month to film a promo. L-R: WRAL's David Crabtree, IFFS' Kyle Abrams, Eliza Bordley, Sabina Bastias, NBC's Lester Holt, IFFS' Ryan Clark and Amber Simmons

We are excited for Kyle and his young family to begin this new chapter - but will also miss him greatly.  Since he joined the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle in 2010, Kyle has grown the Food Shuttle's many strategies for fighting childhood hunger . Under his leadership, our School Pantry Program expanded from 5 schools up to 12. Additionally, the BackPack Buddies program expanded from feeding 824 children every weekend up to 2,027. Kyle was instrumental in launching our official BackPack Buddies Sponsorship program All incredible achievements!

With change comes opportunity. Certainly Kyle has found a wonderful opportunity to continue improving North Carolina. And here at IFFS we have an opportunity to add another dynamic leader to our staff. So if you know someone who is passionate about eradicating childhood hunger in the Triangle region, I invite them to learn more about our important opening.
