HELP MAKE RICHMOND AMAZING
Get up to $500 for your great idea
Help create the Richmond you've always dreamed of. You can get up to $500 for a community-building project through Neighbourhood Small Grants (NSG)!

NSG is based on a simple but powerful idea - when people feel a sense of connection to their neighbourhood, they are more likely to be engaged in activities that make it a better place to live.

NSG gives grants to projects that connect and engage residents, share residents' skills and knowledge within the community, build a sense of neighbourhood ownership and pride, and respect and celebrate diversity.

You can see NSG in action here on Youtube

The deadline to apply is April 4, 2016. Visit www.neighbourhoodsmallgrants.ca or contact [email protected] for more information.

Support for children with special needs

Variety is pleased to partner with Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives with funding towards the purchase of special needs materials for its Child Care Resource & Referral lending library.

For 50 years Variety has supported children in BC who have special needs by providing them with financial assistance for equipment, therapies, medicines and bursaries to special schools and summer camps, all designed to help them achieve their unique potential.

By teaming up with organizations that provide programs and services for children with special needs, Variety can extend its reach and help more kids.

If you know a family that could benefit from Variety's help, ask them to call 604-320-0505 or visit variety.bc.ca for more information.
