A Telephone Support Program for Patients and Their Families/Caregivers/Loved Ones

Join us on Wednesday, March 21 to learn more about surviving a cancer diagnosis and the trauma associated with the journey. This session will be geared toward patients/survivors but all are welcome. Donna Posluszny, PhD, ABPP, Asst. Professor of Medicine at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and thriving survivor Tracy Jolly will share their tips on how to cope as well as manage stress, challenges and fears. The benefits of mindfulness will also be covered. This new series, facilitated by our staff licensed social worker, Jennifer Gillette, will provide much needed psychosocial and emotional support.  Each call will include time for a formal presentation followed by adequate time for callers to speak and ask questions of the presenters and hear from other participants.
