March's Featured WACC Member Business of the Month - Ruma Sports
1000 Main Street, Union Grove, WI

Ruma Sports is a family owned business founded in 1982 by Terry Kieslich who wanted to earn extra money by creating trophies and awards for local school and youth sports teams out of his home.  Soon the demand increased so Terry moved his business to a small store front in Union Grove.  His son Jeff helped and shortly after college was working full time.  Jeff took over the family business in 2004 after his father passed away.  In 2005 he moved the business to the current store front at 1000 Main Street (hwy. 45) which used to be the Ben Franklin Store for many years.  The store front was remodeled in 2010.

Ruma Sport's main focus is selling high quality apparel and equipment to teams, schools, and youth organizations such as travel baseball, basketball, and football programs.  A large part of their business continues to be trophies, corporate awards and engraving.  Jeff and his employees take pride in providing exemplary customer service and strive to build loyal, long-term customer relationships. Getting your order right and on time is their #1 priority.  He would like customers to think of Ruma Sports as a realistic alternative to the big box sports stores.  Ruma Sports has very competitive pricing and can offer customization on many products that the big box stores cannot.
