In the News

A number of NH health advocacy groups successfully advocated for the NH legislature to wait for public health data from the states of Colorado and Washington where recreational marijuana is now legal before deciding whether to legalize marijuana for recreational use in New Hampshire.  Some of their advocacy tools are posted at the DCARE website as a resource for health advocates facing legalization bills in other States.

What is DCARE?
The Dartmouth Center on Addiction, Recovery and Education (DCARE) is a collaborative effort of Dartmouth College and Geisel School of Medicine . The Center, under the auspices of the Provost of the College, was founded by a coalition of Dartmouth students, alumni, faculty, administrators and staff along with members of the regional community dedicated to addressing alcohol, tobacco and other drug use related issues.
The CONNECTION seeks to promote creative approaches to reducing harmful use of alcohol and drugs through network building & information sharing. Please send feedback, ideas and news to: DartmouthCARE@gmail.com
