Riley Pasek Canty LLP Recovers $6 Million for Two Silicon Valley Associations
Our firm is proud to announce that we have resolved claims on two major Silicon Valley Homeowners Associations for approximately $6 million. The damages were severe and included decay and dry rot to the deck structures; however, we were thrilled to be able to settle these large cases in 16 months. No lawsuit was filed and the Association received a settlement covering the cost of all necessary repairs.

CAI San Diego North County Trade Show
We were excited to sponsor the CAI San Diego North County Trade Show, held at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa. The topic of the day: debt collection.
Associa Northern California Speed Dating
We were proud to attend Associa Northern California's Speed Dating event in support of both the company - who we currently work with on several HOA claims - and its charity Associa Cares.
CACM Southern California Expo
We had a great time at the CACM Southern California Expo held at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim. We were especially pleased to be able to share information about our Asset Protection Program (APP) with managers, who were enthusiastic about the program in light of the rainy days ahead.
CAI Bay Area & Central Chapter Ladies Tea
Director of Client Relations Danielle Stroth represented our firm at the CAI Bay Area & Central Chapter's Ladies Tea, held at Casa Real in Pleasanton. It was a pleasure seeing so many professional women gathered at the Steampunk-themed event.

We're excited to be able to share the news of our settlements with you in this month's newsletter, and we also want to commend the Board of Directors and management for taking action. They did a great service to their Associations by hiring our firm to conduct a complimentary inspection, which revealed significant defects just months before the expiration of the 10-year statute of limitations. We encourage all management professionals to contact us if they suspect the same at any of their Associations.
