This month at Aaron's Acres, the administration team kept plugging away at camp intake interviews, registration, and promotion of our programs. On Friday, March 23rd the team trekked to ABC27's studios in Harrisburg where Executive Director Risa Paskoff and program parent Melissa Roslevege sat down with Amy Khem to discuss Aaron's Acres 2018 Summer Camp! Snowed Out

On March 21st the weather got the best of us! All that snow kept Central PA traffic at a standstill, so sadly we had to postpone our Sky Zone Fundraiser to April 11th from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. See you there!
Program Update

  • Lancaster older adolescents visited Linden Hall where they played games with drones and obstacle courses
  • Lancaster A-Team visited Kegel's Produce for a pizza making activity
  • Lancaster younger adolescents participated in Disney related activities at Millersville University
  • Berks program participants visited The Reading Public Museum where they learned about the stars at the planetarium
  • Dauphin participants hit the pool to enjoy an evening of swimming

The next school-year program session will happen on April 6-7!

Aaron's Acres is teaming up with Penn Cinema for a sensory-sensitive fundraiser screening of Sherlock Gnomes on April 7th.Our Sensory-Sensitive Cinema series consists of family-friendly films being shown at 10 AM on the first Saturday of each month, with the theater house lights kept on and volume decreased. All ticket sales from this screening will be donated to Aaron's Acres by Penn Cinema!

SHERLOCK GNOMES
Garden gnomes, Gnomeo & Juliet, recruit renowned detective Sherlock Gnomes to investigate the mysterious disappearance of other garden ornaments.

RESCHEDULED: Join us at Sky Zone Lancaster on April 11th to keep the celebration going! As a part of our 20th anniversary event campaign, Sky Zone will be hosting a sensory-friendly (lights lowered) Aaron's Acres fundraiser! When you bring our event flier to Sky Zone, Aaron's Acres will receive a portion of all operational proceeds! Our flier will be released in the coming weeks on our facebook event page. Note: this is not a closed event, so Sky Zone will be expecting usual volume. When you come, be sure to find us at our kiosk to receive a coupon for a free appetizer at Texas Roadhouse!

Get set to race through The Sweetest Place on Earth! Each year over 3,000 runners converge on the Hershey Entertainment complex to run for a good cause. Aaron's Acres is one of four non-profits that benefit from the proceeds of the Hershey 10k. Register here!
