SEEKING MEMBER COMMENTS ON "PILOT CERTIFICATION FOR AIR CARRIER" NPRM

The SAFE government affairs committee has drafted an initial response to the "Pilot Certification and Qualification Requirements for Air Carrier Operations" NPRM. Realizing that time is very short... the response has to be submitted no later than April 19th... we are asking all SAFE members to read the draft response (click here to review the DRAFT SAFE response) and send any comments to SAFE's Government Affairs Chairman, Darryl Christen, no later than Saturday, 7 April 2012. The committee will collate all the member input that we receive and write a final draft for the Board of Directors to approve before we submit the response to the FAA. | Change of Venue for Annual SAFE Sun-N-Fun Breakfast | |

Please note...
There has been a change of venue for the Annual SAFE Sun 'N Fun Breakfast, sponsored by Redbird Flight Simulations, Starr Aviation and Aviation Insurance Resources. It will now be held on Friday morning, 3/30, from 8 - 9 AM at the Beuhler Restoration Center (located two buildings to the east of the Florida Air Museum). Not only will it be a wonderful opportunity to network with fellow SAFE members, and numerous invited guests from the aviation community, but also allow you to be among the first to learn of several new SAFE initiatives. If you haven't already, please be sure to register for the breakfast.
