Dr. Notes - News from Mike
"One of Dr. Shrink's goals is to educate our customers on the diverse range of shrink wrap applications and to bring awareness to all the industries that shrink wrap is used in. I want everyone to know that your shrink wrap business does NOT have to be seasonal; if you want to expand your seasonal shrink wrap business into a year-round revenue stream, you need to look into other industries and markets. We are here to help you find a new industry that will be a good fit. New for 2017, each month we will be focusing on one of the many industries shrink wrap is used in.  What is around your area?  Do you live somewhere with a lot of new construction or renovations? Then this month's industry, Construction & Scaffolding, would be a perfect option to look into. If you are hesitant to get involved in a new industry, all it takes is one phone call to get started.  We are here to help and guide you in the right direction.

In relation to this month's featured Construction and Scaffolding industry, I am excited to announce that Dr. Shrink's European Flame Retardant Shrink Wrap has passed the rigorous testing process in Europe and now meets the EN 23823 SBI (Single Burning Item) certification. This specialty Flame Retardant shrink wrap will be available in 12-mil white, in two sizes: 24' x 60' and 40' x 60'. In the near future, all European Flame Retardant Shrink Wrap will need to meet the EN 23823 SBI Certification; Dr. Shrink has been proactive in meeting this European requirement ahead of time to stay on the cutting edge of the shrink wrap industry on a global level.

Hope you like the new design for our Newsletter and Weekly Bundles. It is a busy month of travel for the crew; check out our new map below to see where we will be. Thank you for working with us."
Expanding
Expanding beyond the boat to the Construction & Scaffolding Industry
This month the Dr. is highlighting products and services as it relates to the growing construction and scaffolding industry.
A construction site can be a vulnerable place. Whether it's the construction of a new building or renovation/add-on to an existing one, there's the risk of weather eroding all the hard work or ceasing it for a long period of time.  For example, water damage - whether it's rain entering the structure, melting snow, or leaks - is the second most frequent cause of loss during building projects.

Dr. Shrink stocks a complete line of premium, American-made shrink wrap products capable of wrapping large buildings and scaffolding. Our product shrinks "drum-tight" and is far more
effective than traditional tarps and sheeting. This durable, weatherproof covering creates a  proper enclosure and protects the project from potential damage.

Additionally, our shrink wrap creates an improved work environment. Our white shrink wrap allows natural, shadow-free lighting while blocking harmful UV rays. Worker downtime is reduced and the enclosure can even be heated and cooled.

The construction industry can yield huge profit margins and is a 12 month shrink wrap business. Government and large building contacts will require scaffolding wrap/exterior containment and shrink wrap is the most cost effective and durable material that can be used. Available in Extreme 12-mil and up to 60' in width, with flame retardant sizes also available, the Dr. provides the largest rolls of film available on the market.
