You've taken our Concealed Carry Basics or you've come to a Ladies CC Friday Night but you want to do more, right? How about coming out to the Tuesday Night Concealed Carry Shoot we run at the Genesee Conservation League in Penfield? Every Tuesday there is a match that is fun and educational at the same time. For only 10 bucks! All you have to do is stop out and we'll get you started. Bring your eye and ear protection, 100 rounds of ammo, your handgun, a holster, 3 magazines or speedloaders, and be ready to enjoy yourself. The other shooters are great and very welcoming.

Home Defense/Defensive
Shotgun 1 and 2
Dave's colleague and friend in training, Klint Macro of the Trigger Presser's Union based in New Kensington, PA (Outside of Pittsburgh, PA) is hosting a course for a weekend of defensive shotgun training.
On March 18 and 19, Dave will be travelling to Klint's range to teach the Home Defense, Defensive Shotgun 1 and 2 courses. The course is all new and will be dynamic and fun. You'll go through nearly 800 rds in the weekend!
We also have dates booked right here in the Rochester area as well! April 1 and 2 at the Ontario Rod and Gun club!
HDS1 will be focused primarily on you learning how to shoot and keeping the shogun loaded (aka: running the gun). Different tactics and skills will get you to think outside your comfort zone and how to begin to operate the shotgun reflexively and intuitively.
HDS2 will put more stress on you, make you think differently, shoot from different positions, and more. We've got a great set of drills and personal tests that will push you further. We'll also work on transitioning to your handgun if need be.

GLOCK training and shooting courses
On October 4, GLOCK will be here for the GLOCK Armorer's course. It's an 8hr day and you have to be a GSSF member, in armed security, in the military, or law enforcement to attend.
Tuition of the Armorer's course is 250.00
On October 5 and 6, they'll be holding the GLOCK Operator's course. This is a shooting course and it is a lot of fun and great training!
Increase your knowledge and skills with your GLOCK in 2 Days (16 Hours).
This training course is designed and intended for public safety professionals who have successfully completed a basic pistol course and want to improve their skills. This course is not recommended for those who have not attended official training programs. This course is a dynamic shooting course that requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, shoot on the move, move into and recover quickly from kneeling and prone positions.
To take this course you must be one of the following: Active or Reserve Law Enforcement. Active or Reserve Military. Licensed Armed Security Officers. Current GSSF Members. Current NRA Firearms Instructor. Documentation of these certifications is required upon request.

First Aid Training
First Aid/CPR/AED. Spread the word. RPD, LLC has secured the assistance and wonderful training skills of someone that will help us expand the curriculum to include Medical Response Training. This is a MUST for everyone. If you have never attended a class such as this, you really need to. EVERYONE should have this knowledge! Not only will it help you better deal with minor emergencies but for a business owner, it may actually reduce your insurance costs!
We have also partnered with EMS Tactical (www.emstac.com) to provide more intermediate and advanced level medical courses. Right now, we're offering their Civilian Response to Trauma and Advanced Civilian Response to Trauma courses. This training is a big step away from the traditional first aid courses and will give you a great set of lifesaving skills!
These guys provide courses that are aimed towards the civilian who might be in the area of a mass casualty incident as well as the Professional First Responder who needs more training.

Street and Vehicle Tactics
This course will give the student the ability to recognize, avoid, and if necessary WIN a violent street encounter.
This course deals with self-defense while at work, in your automobile, when traveling, and while in public settings (like restaurants, shopping malls, and theaters). More than half the course will deal with situations in and around your car.
Many courses teach you how to shoot. Our tactics courses teach you how to not have to shoot - and how to win if shooting is required.
Subjects Covered:
- Awareness of how street crimes are committed
- Spotting and avoiding common crimes
- Tactics that prevent confrontations: verbal skills, body language, tactical positioning, minimizing target indicators
- Tactics necessary to win if it comes to physical violence: use of cover, maneuver, knowledge of danger areas
- Countering both road blocking situations and "carjacking"
- Dealing with post-crisis management: security and containment, interaction with witnesses, interaction with responding emergency personnel and investigating Law Enforcement

If you travel a lot, and would like the ability to bring your concealed handgun with you, then the list below will help you get a Non Resident permit!
A reminder for those of you that have non resident permits:
- FLORIDA Non Resident Permit Holders: As of recently, the states of Pennsylvania and Washington will no longer accept your FLA Non Resident permit as valid for carry in those states. If you wish to carry in PA, you will have to go to PA and obtain a Non Resident Permit. McKean, Potter, York, Erie, Centre counties are all very friendly!

CONCEALED CARRY FOR WOMEN
More and more ladies are coming out and learning about carrying concealed and the skills that go along with it. Some nights will be on the range shooting and once in a while, we will be visiting other subjects such as retention, pepper spray, low light, etc...we will cover safety, operation in a non target shooting environment, carry methods and guns, some defensive skills, and some live fire fun!
LADIES ONLY BASIC DEFENSIVE PISTOL
This is the ladies basic defensive pistol and intro to handguns course. Based on the NRA's Basic Pistol, this class will help you learn firearms safety, what gun is best for you, how to maintain your handgun, and show you how to use the shooting fundamentals to enjoy going to the range and have fun practicing!
Streamlined for those of you that are going to carry for personal protection, we have added topics that YOU the students have requested: defensive use, how to carry concealed, and more.
 SELF DEFENSE WITH PEPPER SPRAY
Pepper spray can be an effective tool in your goal of personal safety. As with any tool, you must learn how to use it properly to avoid becoming a liability to yourself or others. This class will not only tell you about the what, when, and how, but you will get to practice with inert sprays to test your skills.
