Dear Friends of A Novel Experience,

We move into March with the best memories of the 2018 Dog and Pony Show--stay tuned as we show you some of the winning images over the next couple of months. Thank you Ray Sullivan for doing a momentous job picking such a fine show from all the entries, and presenting a wonderful Juror's Talk. And, we still have daydreams of adopting the dozen or so dogs who shared the Reception honors--if you need, need, need to take those two sweet white puffballs (part Great Pyrennes) home, please do not hesitate to call the good folks at Coco's Cupboard...And now, the People's Choice winner! George Slade's Sophie in the Wind!

March is definitely coming in like a lamb--we are so pleased at the reprieve from the cold of late winter and hope the buds will not get nailed in a late freeze. For March, we are pleased to present the "Nose Art" of WWII photographer Harry H. Davis. He served in the south Pacific theater from 1943-45. Besides photographing reconnaissance missions and raids over mainland Japan he took  shots of the iconic paintings of saucy ladies on the bombers. They will hang at the store for the month as a tribute to Harry and, sadly, as a memorial--he just passed away at 96 years of age. And, thank you to photographer and printer Jim Johns who printed his work. The prints will be for sale throughout the month.
