March 7: At Monkey Hollow Winery + Bistro in downtown Ferdinand there will be music featuring Debbie Schuetter, 6-8pm. The Bistro has released a new menu featuring local favorites, The Brat panini, apple coleslaw and grape salad. March 11: Join Blackhawk Winery for Winemaker Wednesday. Take a walk through the vineyard to learn about winter/early spring vine maintenance. The session includes mulled wine and a flask to carry the wine with you through the vineyard to stay warm. $10 per person, limited participation. March 19: If you're in the Indianapolis area, enjoy an evening of canvas painting, cocktail sipping, and morsel munching at Yelp Paints the Town Red event at Union Station! Over 50 businesses and organizations, including Butler Winery & Vineyards, Oliver Winery, Easley Winery, New Day Craft, and Mallow Run Winery, will share samples and services under the roof of the beautiful Union Station. All must RSVP individually here. Don't wait! March 19: Find your inner artist at Mallow Run Winery. No artistic skill? No worries! Their professional artist, Maggie, will guide you step-by-step as you create a beautiful canvas painting to take home. You can also enjoy a glass or two of wine along the way! March 28-29: The annual Indiana Artisan Marketplace will be open Saturday 10-6pm and Sunday 10-5pm at The Expo Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Come out and visit with 11 Indiana wineries. Tickets are $10 at the door, 14 and younger admitted free. For more information, go to:
