Vintage Indiana Tickets on Sale Now!

The snow and ice may not have you thinking about summer, but Indiana's BEST wine festival will!  Get ready for warmer weather because Vintage Indiana is just around the corner. 

 

Mark your calendars for June 6, 2015. You can purchase tickets and consider booking a hotel room with the                    JW Marriott in Indianapolis! Ware partnering with them to offer two different room packages for the weekend. 

 

The Early Admission package includes one night accommodation in a higher floor room, 2 breakfast buffet vouchers, overnight self-parking and 2 Early Admission tickets to Vintage Indiana.  All for the bargain price of $249!!  That's a huge deal! But rooms are limited so book them ASAP!

March Indiana Winery Events 

March 7: At Monkey Hollow Winery + Bistro in downtown Ferdinand there will be music featuring Debbie Schuetter, 6-8pm. The Bistro has released a new menu featuring local favorites, The Brat panini, apple coleslaw and grape salad.

 

March 11: Join Blackhawk Winery for Winemaker Wednesday. Take a walk through the vineyard to learn about winter/early spring vine maintenance.  The session includes mulled wine and a flask to carry the wine with you through the vineyard to stay warm.  $10 per person, limited participation.
 

March 19: If you're in the Indianapolis area, enjoy an evening of canvas painting, cocktail sipping, and morsel munching at Yelp Paints the Town Red event at Union Station! Over 50 businesses and organizations, including Butler Winery & Vineyards, Oliver Winery, Easley Winery, New Day Craft, and Mallow Run Winery, will share samples and services under the roof of the beautiful Union Station. March 19: Find your inner artist at Mallow Run Winery. No artistic skill? No worries! Their professional artist, Maggie, will guide you step-by-step as you create a beautiful canvas painting to take home. You can also enjoy a glass or two of wine along the way! Registration is $35 and includes all materials. Wine and snacks available for purchase. Visit their website to see the featured canvas and to sign up! Hurry, class sizes are limited!


March 28-29: The annual Indiana Artisan Marketplace will be open Saturday 10-6pm and Sunday 10-5pm at The Expo Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Come out and visit with 11 Indiana wineries. Tickets are $10 at the door, 14 and younger admitted free. For more information, go to:  IAMP

 

Blackhawk Winery will be open from 1-6pm, 7 days a week, starting on March 3

 

Monkey Hollow Winery's Santa Claus location will be open Fridays and Saturdays only from 11-6 pm Central.  

March 7: Come out to Whyte Horse Winery for a Winemaker's Table at 7pm. Enjoy gourmet dishes, fine locally-made wines, and learn about pairing them together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Bring your questions for the chef and the winemaker, or just enjoy a unique evening out. These events often include tastings of specialty and pre-released wines and a tour of the processing facility. Tickets are $50/person.  The menu's theme this month will be French Cuisine!

 

March 15: French Lick Winery will be hosting ArtSelf Expressions, 1-4pm. Create a set of 4 - 20oz, unique, abstract art wine glasses. With a beautiful stained-glass look, these glasses will be perfect for your Easter table or for giving as a gift.  Tickets are $50/person and limited, so buy yours today!

 

March 19: Join Hopwood Cellars at 7pm for their Sommelier Night, a fun hour of learning about food & wine. RSVP because there is limited seating. $5 prepaid, includes wine & food.

   

March 21: The duo, Bomar & Ritter will be performing from 6-8pm at Monkey Hollow Winery + Bistro in downtown Ferdinand. 

 

 

March 28: Join Butler Winery & Vineyards at the Johnson County Museum of History for Wine & Cheese and All That Jazz!  

 

 

Enjoy satisfying soups, freshly-baked breads and delightful desserts that will warm your belly and your heart this winter season at Mallow Run Winery! Great meals and live music every weekend, January-March. Winery open 12-6pm both days, food served all day. Live music featured on our enclosed, heated patio from 2-5pm. Free admission and complimentary wine tasting; glasses and bottles of wine, soup, dessert and other snacks available for purchase at the registers. Whyte Horse 2013 Malbec

Their first vintage of a WHW Malbec is planned to be released March 6th.  This is the winemaker's favorite food-friendly wine and we are excited to share our take on the popular Argentinian grape.
