Why 352?  It's the area code where DANB creates its art.  It's DANB's home - an area rich in art and artists.  This area provides the artists for our upcoming production - BALLET 352.

Choreography for new works finished up last week - just in time to rehearse!  (Would you believe the Company returned from south Florida early Sunday morning and has a performance of Midsummer Night's Dream Tuesday at the Villages!)

A busy tour schedule made finding time to create and rehearse an exercise in logistics with Balanchine Repetiteur Leslie Peck returning to fine tune Balanchine's Allegro Brillante March 11-13.  Below, Ms. Peck Illustrating a special moment. Then Principal dancers Julia Ponomareva and Alexsey Kuznetsov performing the the step. It was a joy to have Ms. Peck lead us on this journey.

Brilliant pianist Kevin Sharpe will be the piano soloist for  A llegro. Dr. Sharpe is a long time friend of DANB.  A Fulbright recipient, he was awarded First Prize in the Johann SebastianBach International Piano Competition.  Dr. Sharpe

Ms.Ponomareva and Mr.Kuznetsov will be joined by  Ines Albertini, Walter Angelini, Gretel Batista, Douglas de Oliveira, Rostislav Dzabraev, Theresa Hanson, Rachel Ridley and Fhilipe Teixeira.

Choreographer in Residence Judy Skinner premiers her newest work, Sometimes It's About the Choices We Make.  This dramatic work features principals Andre Valladon and Carla Amancio along with

Gretel Batista, Yulia Pivotskaya, Walter Angelini and Alexsey Kuznetsov performing to Arnold Schoenberg's Transfigured Night.
