"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is Summer in the light, and Winter in the shade."
-Charles Dickens

Photo Voice--Untold Minds
In the Portal Gallery, Compassionate Touch Network will have their exhibit called, "Photo Voice--Untold Minds" on display. Dr. Caroline Wang of PhotoVoice says this show, "creates opportunities for those who are marginalized; it allows them to actively participate in enhancing their communities by giving them a chance to tell their stories and have their voices heard. It equips individuals with cameras so they can create photographic evidence and symbolic representations to help others see the world through their eyes.”
-This show will be on display from
March 23 through May 5, 2018.
Calls for Art
Vessel
We have an open Call for Art for our upcoming exhibit, Vessel.

Vessels hold, contain, and protect. They have myriads of purposes and can elicit countless meanings. The transportation of blood, holding the morning coffee, transporting goods across the ocean, or carrying an unborn child, all point back to the same theme. What do you hold close and how is it held?
