Day Camp 2017

Day Camp 2017 – Are you ready for a Castaway Adventure! The Three Fires Council is offering a wide variety of day camp opportunities for youth who have finished Kindergarten through 4th Grade. They can attend day camps, twilight camps, and overnight camps.
New in 2017:

  • The Program - In addition to standard day camp offerings such as BB and archery ranges, crafts, nature, sports, and STEM activities, each camp location will have, multiple gaga pits, mobile climbing tower, and human foosball court.
  • Staff - Additional paid seasonal staff will supplement the already well-qualified volunteer staff at each location to help with program, provide consistent training and range operation certifications, and relieve the volunteer staff of many business management duties.
  • The entire Scout Family is welcome - In 2017 we are opening our Day Camps to the entire Scout family. If a brother or sister of a registered Scout is Cub Scout age (Entering 1st grade next fall through 10 years old) they are welcome at any of our camp sessions.
  • Unchaperoned Campers - We are waiving the requirement for an adult to be present for every five Cub Scouts at our Day camps.  Any number of Cubs from a unit may be dropped off each day and picked up without regard to the adult to Cub ratio. There will be sufficient adult staff as act as den guides and to ensure every camper is supervised and safe.  However, Tiger Cubs and any siblings entering 1st grade in the Fall of 2017 will still require one-on-one parent/guardian supervision.
  • Flex Drop Off and Pick Ups - For a small addition fee, parents may drop off campers as early as 7:00 am and/or pick them up as late at 6:00 pm.  This option does not apply to twilight or weekend camps.
  • Twilight & Weekend Bonus - Since Flex Drop Off and Pick Ups will not be available for twilight and weekend camps, each youth camper will be provided with a meal each day.  Meals for adults will be $5.00 per day or $20 for the week.
  • Discounts - Attend a second Camp Session and receive a 25% discount off the 2nd camp’s fee. Attend a third or additional Camp Sessions and receive a 33% discount off that camp’s fee required to attend camp.

For more information on our camps or to make reservations, please contact Three Fires Council at (630) 584-9250, go to our website at www.threefirescouncil.org
