Annual Benefit - Mardi Gras!

 

Parents, Faculty, Alumni, Grandparents, and Friends of Tuxedo Park School are invited to participate in all phases of The Annual Benefit - Mardi Gras on April 20 at The Tuxedo Club. This event will include a wide array of Cajun delicacies, a spectacular jazz quintet, an assortment of New Orleans inspired cocktails, and of course numerous opportunities to bid on items. We invite everyone to attend!

 

Mardi Gras Night and Item Donations

On auction night, there will be exciting opportunities for all attendees: a wine pull, numerous raffles, the culmination of the on-line silent auctions and a live auction for the most coveted items. These auctions only succeed through generous donations from you and your personal or professional contacts. We encourage you to contribute items both large and small, as well as once-in-a-lifetime experiences.  

Some of the 2012 items were:

  1. Five-night stay in a 6 bedroom Southampton summer home
  2. Full day driving school and racing at Monticello Motor Club
  3. Southern-style Pig Roast with our Tennessee-born music director Nina Allbert and her husband Al
  4. A round of golf: Deepdale, Manhattan Woods, and The Tuxedo Club
  5. Original artwork from local artists
  6. 1989 X-JS convertible Jaguar
  7. Gift Certificates for Personal Trainers, Spas, Restaurants and more..

Silent Auction and BiddingforGood.Com

This year we have partnered with Bidding for Good to create an on-line silent auction. Silent auction bidding will be ongoing and conclude the night of Mardi Gras April 20. Items can be viewed on  www.BiddingforGood.Com/tps. Please look often as new items will be continuously added. As a bonus, there will be spontaneous "pop-up" auctions for timely items such as tickets for sporting events, theater, and concerts.

 

Goal of The Tuxedo Park School Annual Benefit

The Tuxedo Park School Annual Benefit is a dynamic fundraising event that provides money to augment the school's exceptional programs. In the tradition of independent schools, TPS (a not for profit 501(c) 3) relies on the generosity of parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends from Tuxedo Park and beyond.
