Kids of all ages and experience levels are welcome in this group. Learn how to knit & purl, make a drawstring bag, a first sweater, or anything in between! The possibilities are endless.

Crochet Christmas Basket

This cute little basket pattern from Churchmouse Classics can easily be dressed up for a great little christmas gift! Or, leave it plain for anytime. Lots of different sizes depending on yarn used and simple enough for the beginner crocheter. We'll work on the basket the first week and the holly and berries the second week.

Little Matryoshka Doll Ornament

Sometimes I just need to make something cute and silly - hence the little Matryoshka Doll. Then I thought how cute it would look decorating a Christmas tree!

Knitted body with needlefelted face. I'll make a kit of materials.

FOUR Great

Knit-Along Classes!

A Knit-Along can be a fun way to work on a project, but it's nice to have an instructor, too! Knitting with others on the same project generally keeps you going along better and is a nice way to meet and enjoy others that share your love of the craft! There will be a facilitator/instructor who will join you on the project and she (as well as your knitting companions) will be able to answer questions and give advice where needed!

I've tried to price these classes to be less expensive than fully instructional classes, but still enough to compensate the instructor and pay the light bills!

Flyaway

This is a top-down, seamless, A-line sweater that is flattering to everyone! It features cable detailing along the raglan shaping and down the back that travels down the sleeves and body. A simple shawl collar with I-cord edge finishes it off.

"Pleasure" Top-Down Tunic

This top is easy to fit-as-you-go and a nice layer for the cool weather. The pattern has optional waist shaping for a nice fit, and you can make it as long as you like in a wide variety of yarns!

My Favorite Things

Infinity Scarf

This pattern is a free download on Ravelry, by Jill McGee. It is stranded colorwork and designed so that you can customize and create with your very own "favorite things". Knit as a tube in the round, 10 colors are recommended, but as little as 2 will work. A great way to use some favorite scraps!

Woodland Wreath

This spectacular Woodland Wreath was designed by Frankie Brown. This will be great fun to knit as a group - so many different ways to put the pieces together.

Or, add some "Christmasy" details! Knitted pieces are mounted on a covered foam wreath form, so you can add as much or as little as you would like.

Crocheted Linen Stitch Scarf
Crocheted linen stitch is ADDICTING!! The pattern is from Churchmouse Yarns & Teas. Made in fingering weight, it is light, soft, and totally reversible! Pictured scarf is in Misti Alpaca Sock, our model in the shop is in Ellyn Cooper's Zohar's Socks. Beginner crochet level.
