As you watch the Olympic athletes compete for the gold, it is impressive to see the stories of all the time, effort, and sacrifice it took for them to get to London.
Going to the Olympics is not a passive pursuit, you can't just sit back on your couch and wait for the committee to give you a call. It takes hours of training and hard work.
Similarly your marriage is not a passive pursuit. You can't just sit back and expect your marriage to be gold. There must also be time, training, and sacrifice in order to see your dreams fulfilled.
When was the last time you spent some time in training to improve your marriage skills? When was the last time you sacrificed some of your time or money to get closer as a couple?
Maybe it is time for you to get off the couch and get your relationship back in shape.
