We would like to let you know that Marty's mother, Mazel Stoneking, passed away this past week, and so we are stateside again, preparing for her celebration of life and burial. We covet your prayers during this time.  Below is her obituary.
  
Mazel Snyder Stoneking
  
Mazel Snyder Stoneking, 97, passed away at 1:30 a.m., Friday, June 7, at the Jeffery Mini-Home in Charlestown, IN, where she resided for the last 5 years. She is a former resident of Nicholasville and has been a member of the Nicholasville UMC since 2005.
  
She was born on October 26, 1915, in Round Knob, Braxton County, WV. She was one of 12 children born to the late William and Elizabeth Lowe Snyder. She was the last surviving sibling. Her husband, the Rev. Paul Stoneking, predeceased her by five years.

Mazel and Paul served as Pastor and wife for 37 years in the United Methodist Church of the Kentucky Conference, serving in such cities as Winchester, Salyersville, Prestonburg, Maysville, Irvine and Williamstown.

She is survived by her only child, a daughter, Mrs. Marty Stoneking Law, a missionary to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa; and her husband, Paul C. Law, also of Lodja, in the DR Congo; a granddaughter, Dr. Stephanie Law, of Pasadena, CA; one grandson, Burleigh D. Law of Plainfield, IN, and his family--wife, Holly, and four great grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Rachel and Nathaniel; another granddaughter, Stacy Law Salvatori of Perkasie, PA, and her husband, Rev. Franco Salvatori and three great grandchildren, Anna, Micah and Talia.
  
Services will be held at the Nicholasville United Methodist Church, 303 W. Maple St., Friday, June 14. Viewing will be before the service at the church from 1:30 to 2 p.m. The worship service will be held at 2:00 p.m., followed by the burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Nicholasville.
