1. MA State Budget Funds Us
State Senator Pat Jehlen is including us in the 2019 MA Budget, as passed by the Senate last week! Amendment #450 secures $54,000 in funding for our prevention work, if it is passed by the Conference Committee and the Governor in the coming weeks. Once the Committee members are announced, we'll share the information on Facebook so that you can call/email your representatives about our amendment.

Another way to get involved:

Check out the MASSCreative Action Network and its campaigns.
Find out what you can do today to help the creative community and youth arts around the Commonwealth.

Why?

Arts education improves the learning of students of all ages. Addiction experts have long-recognized the value of art-based therapy in improving the health and resiliency of people recovering from addiction. And the nonprofit arts sector generated more than $2.2 billion in economic activity in 2015.
2.June Workshop Offer!
3. Foxborough Community Show Recap
On May 24, we performed a show for the community in Foxborough with a fantastic audience of over 75 people! Big thanks to the S.A.F.E. Coalition, the Rotary Club of Foxboro, and Infinity Family Care for organizing such a great turnout! Also a huge thank you to all the wonderful groups and their members who came out to see the show and to participate in our discussion!
4.Support Boston’s First Narrative Arts Center
We've always believed in the importance of communities coming together through art, whether it be theatre, music, or the written word. Support our friends at GrubStreet, Harvard Book Store and Mass Poetry in their bid to build a Narrative Arts Center! This is a plan to create a radically inclusive multi-use literary and cultural arts center open to all. Sign the petition here!
