Dear Friends:

Having trouble filling in the blanks in your family tree? Expert genealogy researcher, lecturer and founding member of the Troy Irish Genealogy Society, Donna Vaughn, has been helping people find ways around and over those nagging "brick walls" that every researcher hits. She will offer a unique workshop on:

May 7, 2012 6:30 - 8:00 PM

Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Office , 2501 Troy Road, Niskayuna.

This course is limited to 8 participants so that individual attention can be given to your problems and "brick walls" in completing your own family tree. There will be a live review of the basic genealogy websites for records search, including some of the lesser known sites. Ms. Vaughn has over 35 years experience in genealogical research and will provide each student with specific tips and tricks based on the students' questions. Please contact Cemetery Manager, Elaine at 374-5319 or Elaine.Fernandez@rcda.org for more information or to register. Cost: $50

Hope to see you there.

Sowing Seeds in Sacred Soil

gardening club

Historic St. Agnes Cemetery is forming a garden club this year.   Flowers - beautiful gifts from God- are a wonderful way to memorialize the departed who rest in sacred ground. The Cemetery's historian hopes to fill this special place with splashes of color and is calling on gardeners and cemetery enthusiasts to join forces with her to help make Historic St. Agnes Cemetery prettier than ever.   If you have someone buried here and you would like to plant annuals or perennials in their honor or if you would like to be involved in the planting of our current garden spaces, please contact Kelly Grimaldi  @463-0134,for more details on how you can become part of the Gardening Angels Garden Club.
