Hello LFC families - The weather was sunny in Indianapolis for our 11 teams competing this past weekend at the Grand Park Cup! Congratulations to all of our players, coaches, and fans on representing Lexington FC well at the tourney. Keep the photos and updates coming at @LexingtonFC1 #LexFC
Masterson Station Impact: Cross-Country Meet

For those with games at Masterson Station this weekend, a cross country meet at the park may impact traffic flow. The course runs through the front area of the park, behind the fair grounds and next to the dog park. While the meet shouldn’t impact parking at the soccer fields, the entrance to the park from Leestown Road may be a problem. You may consider entering the park from the back entrance. RISK MANAGEMENT POLICIES AND PROCEDURES REMINDER

As a result of recent events, LYSA and LFC thought it best to remind everyone of the Risk Management policy and procedures employed by LYSA/LFC in regards to all of our coaches, volunteers, Team Coordinators, etc.

If you were not already aware, each and every coach and volunteer who interacts with our players is required to be in compliance with the Risk Management policy adopted by our parent organization, Kentucky Youth Soccer (KYSA). This includes, but is not limited to, requiring that each person pass a background check conducted by KYSA before we are even able to assign them to any roster. Here is the link to the formal policy https://usys-assets.ae-admin.com/assets/948/15/Risk%20Management%20Policy%20-%20Updated%206-4-18.pdf and more information can be found on KYSA’s website ( www.kysoccer.net).

As always, the safety and security of all of our participants and children are of utmost importance to LYSA/LFC and we will continue to adhere to policies and implement rules with that ultimate goal in mind.
