Max Anderson Appointed Chamber Executive Director
Max Anderson, a recent graduate of the Chamber's Leadership Grand Traverse program and a Membership Relations Manager at Fifth Third Bank, is the new Executive Director of the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce. His appointment was announced today by TraverseCONNECT CEO Doug Luciani.

Registration Open for Annual Celebration
Registration is now open for the Annual Celebration, which takes place January 20, 2017 from 6 - 10 p.m. at the Grand Traverse Resort, followed by the post-event reception until midnight. Tickets are $105 for Chamber members and $155 for non-members. Join your friends and associates in the region's business community for a night of celebration and fun, and to honor our 2016 Distinguished Service Award Honoree Herb Lemcool.

SCORE Lunchtime Workshops
Traverse City SCORE will host monthly lunchtime workshops in 2017, each one focusing on an aspect of digital marketing knowledge.
The workshops will be held the last Thursday of each month beginning Jan. 26 and running through October. Workshops are free and will be held at the Traverse Area District Library, 610 Woodmere, in the McGuire Room, from noon to 1 p.m. Links will be posted on the SCORE website after the first of the year.
Take the Early Childhood Survey
The Great Start Collaborative of Traverse Bay is seeking input from the local business community for a project to measure the economic impact of local and state investments in early childhood. Great Start has worked with Avenue ISR to create a survey of area residents to help in this effort. If you are raising children under the age of 12, please take a few minutes to complete this online survey.
