Window Advertising Graphics 101: 4 Key Factors to Consider
1. SIGHT LINES.
Make sure there are no obstructions, either in your window or in front of your store. If it's blocked in any way, it simply won't be read.
2. VIEWING DISTANCE.
The size of your image and text is important. Remember, people need to easily read your message from 10-20 feet away. Look at other window ad displays to get a sense of the scale you'll need.
3. CONSISTENT MESSAGE.
Your customers should not be left clueless once they enter your store. Your sign may have pulled them in - but now what? You need to create interior signage that guides the customer accordingly. Tip: To help your customer make that connection, make sure your
inside signs have the same design and typeface as your window signs.
4. KEEP IT SIMPLE.
People have enough clutter in their lives, so don't add to that in your window. One or two messages in a given window is plenty. Of course, you can always rotate various messages to see which ones work best for you.
