Incredible fundraisers during Autism Awareness Month

During April, Autism Awareness Month, Autism Cares Foundation received many generous donations through individual and Corporate Fundraisers!

On Wednesday, April 27, The Hattery Stove and Still in Doylest own, PA hosted a
'Pay What  You Want' burger fundraiser. Patrons came out in droves to enjoy great burgers while contributing to the Foundation.  "The support from our community is truly amazing," said Linda Kuepper, Co-Founder & CEO of Autism Cares Foundation.  All proceeds from the 'Pay What You Want" fundraiser were donated to ACF!

Another local organization, Salad Works in Southampton, PA collected donations all month.  On Sunday, April 24 and Saturday, April 30, they donated $1 from each salad sold to the foundation.  The culmination of Autism Awareness Month was a big party last weekend.  Many families from our community came out to enjoy live music, sensory friendly arts and crafts, great raffle baskets and of course, to enjoy their delicious salads!  "It means the world to us to be able to get involved with the community that we serve," said Jasmine Ridgeway, ACF.  "For Salad Works to support us during Autism Awareness Month has been a great honor."

Autism Cares Foundation would like to thank each and every person and organization who donated, volunteered and came out to support the Foundation during Autism Awareness Month.  We are so grateful to all of you!

Volunteer Of The Month- Morgan Duretz

It is well-known in the non-profit community that volunteers are worth th eir weight in gold and Morgan Duretz is definitely a young woman who has distinguis hed herself.

Morgan goes above and beyond what is expected of her and has volunteered at many of the Autism Cares Foundation's social programs including, Halloween dance, Holiday party, Prom, and Coach bingo, to name a few.

This year, she has put a great deal of time and energy into helping out with  the silent auction for our upcoming Spring Gala by getting items for baskets and making baskets.  She is looking forward to volunteering for many roles at this special fundraising event being held on May 7 at the Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland.   We want to thank Morgan for all that she does.  She is truly an asset to ACF!
