Housing Management Conference Wrap-Up
The 42nd annual Housing Management Conference (HMC) was held at the Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky, on April 25-27, 2017. The conference was a h uge success thanks to the HMC planning committee, Southeastern Affordable Housing Management Association (SAHMA), the U.S. Department for Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) staff. There were over 500 attendees, 27 tradeshow vendors, and we surpassed our goal and raised $10,472 for Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky (PCAK)!

On the first day, our keynote speaker, Toni Blake, kept us laughing and entertained. In two short days we held 42 sessions with great information from speakers and presenters. Many came decked out in their 1980s costumes to help us raise money at the silent auction for PCAK. We want to share out a special thank you to all those who donated items to the silent auction. We could not have reached our goal without you!  On the last day we wrapped up by recognizing those in the industry who have stood out above the rest, going above and beyond in their efforts to provide safe, quality, and affordable housing to those in need.
