Slow Food Philadelphia
Greetings!

Our regional chapter of the Slow Food movement is looking for you to support our many partners who work hard to fight hunger in our communities and support the local sustainable food movement.  Please show your support by attending or supporting our partners.  Visit the new section of our website Groups that are making a difference to learn more about how you can contribute and volunteer.

We wish to thank Temple Brith Achim for giving us an opportunity to speak to them about the Slow Food Movement and also for their generous donation that will be used to support our partners.

All of the proceeds from our PA Horticultural Society seminar at the Restaurant School were donated to a great cause, Sunday Suppers.  This hunger project is providing healthy prepared meals to a West Kensington neighborhood and is being supported by Common Market, a wholesale market for local farmer/food producers in our region. Visit their website for more information.  They are looking for volunteers and donations.  sundaysuppersphilly.org
