Saturday, May 2 -  22nd Annual Beltaine Festival, UU Fellowship of Huntington - Come celebrate, drop off a non-perishable food donation, and learn about what we do and how we do it!

Saturday, May 2 - "Paws for a Cause" Pet Parade SCCADV Benefit, Shorefront Park in Patchogue - Learn about Baxter's Pet Pantry.

Sunday, May 3 - Lindenhurst Street Fair, 163 N. Wellwood Avenue Lindenhurst - Meet Aspara-Gus the Friendly Dragon, purchase some LIC swag to benefit the food bank, and learn about our programs.
  
Week of May 4th
Wednesday, May 6 - Long Island Craft Beer Week Kick-Off Event "Craft Cares", Melville Marriott - Stop by our booth to drop off a food donation or learn about the programs we run.

Thursday, May 7 - Nasssau Community College Fashion Show, Nassau Community College - Remember to bring a non-perishable food item to the show for our food drive!

Thursday, May 7 - Monthly #HarryLivesOn Tweetchat with Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida - Help us remember Harry's life and legacy with fans and hunger fighters all over the world  at our new time (7:30 PM). Just follow us on Twitter and tag your comments with #HarryLivesOn to join the conversation! 

Saturday, May 9 - Boy Scout Troop 349 Stuff a Truck, Stop and Shop in Ronkonkoma - Help the Scouts stuff a truck full of food for Long Islanders in need from 10 AM to 2 PM!  
  
Week of May 11th
Saturday, May 16 -  Sachem Library Adopt-A-Pet Fair, Sachem Library - We'll be collecting donations for Baxter's Pet Pantry and providing information on our programs.
  
Week of May 18th
Thursday, May 21 -  HIA Tradeshow, Suffolk County Community College - Meet Aspara-Gus the Friendly Dragon in the morning, and learn about our programs at our info booth throughout the event.

Friday, May 22 - HIA Summer Food Drive - The largest small business food drive on Long Island - all to benefit Long Island Cares - begins today!  Stay up to date on our HIA Food Drive Facebook page!
  
Week of May 25th
Tuesday, May 26 - Sunday, May 31 - Food for Fines Week, Gold Coast Library in Glen Head - Bring in a can of non-perishable food to donate to Long Island Cares, and the library will waive your late fees!

Saturday, May 30 - Halfway to Thanksgiving Food Drive, King Kullen in Bayshore - Help us stuff a truck with food for Long islanders in need!

Sunday, May 31 - Halfway to Thanksgiving Food Drive, King Kullen Huntington - Another chance to help us fill a truck for our neighbors in need!
