mother3 Mother's Day Highlights
What a wonderful Mother's Day for our clients!  CAbi and  BRAWS (Bringing Resources to Aid Women's Shelters)  provided our moms with a Mother's Day Makeover.  More than 50 volunteers helped style the ladies with over 500 different pieces of CAbi clothing and distributed over 100 pieces of BRAWS intimate apparel items as well as feminine hygiene products. Domino's also provided dinner for everyone including all the children!   Thank you to everyone involved for helping to  making this a memorable and fun Mother's Day for our clients!

Acumen Solutions' Concert for a Cause

Congratulations to Joe Meyer, Executive Director and CEO of Shelter House, Inc., on being nominated by  Helios HR  for the  Northern Virginia Chamber Commerce  Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Award in the Emerging Influential Leader of the Year Category! These awards honor individuals, businesses and non-profits for above-and-beyond business leadership and corporate social responsibility. An audience of 600+ leaders including the region's top senior executives, political leaders, business professionals, entrepreneurs and emerging influential will be in attendance at the ceremony held on June 21st from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner.
