Like you, we love spring here at Believe In Tomorrow.  If you have been following us on social media, visited our Hospital House at Hopkins, or stopped by any of our Respite Houses, you have seen a flurry of activity as we spruce up, plant flowers, and organize fun events.

Our 21st Annual Port to Fort 6K went off without a hitch, as we raised awareness and funding for our critically ill children and their families.  We welcomed current and former Believe In Tomorrow families; tons of volunteer groups; many competitive runners; and, corporate sponsors.  These groups came together and created a fun, and festive atmosphere.  We hope to see you all next year on APRIL 21,2018 for the 22nd Annual Port to Fort!

We love our monthly newsletter as a way to provide you with information about Believe In Tomorrow families and activities.  Our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter feeds all provide additional real time updates as to what our families are up to, volunteer opportunities, and numerous fun activities for you.  Please take a moment to follow us on our social media pages to stay in the loop.

And if you have some free time and you'd like to volunteer, check out our new Wish of the Month, or give us a call at (410) 744-1032, to find out other ways to be involved.

Coming Full Circle with
Believe In Tomorrow

The social workers at Herman & Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai in Baltimore, Maryland submit many applications to the Believe In Tomorrow Respite Housing program each year. The consistent flow of information between our two organizations has turned into a strong partnership over the years, with staff from both organizations taking special care of the Hospital's pediatric oncology patients. Recently, the deep rooted professional relationships took a surprising and extremely satisfying turn.  Click here to read more.

A Job Well Done

Thank you, thank you, thank you.  Due to your support, the 21st Annual Port to Fort 6K was a resounding success.  Early on Saturday morning at Coke Field in Baltimore, despite chilly temperatures and drizzling rain, runners, volunteers and supporters came together and had a great time for a great cause.  Runners raced through beautiful Fort McHenry, local groups cheering them on all the way. Prizes were awarded, yummy food consumed, faces painted, plants distributed to all participants, and even a MARRIAGE PROPOSAL (she said yes!).  This race was truly one for the record books.

Next year's race is destined to be even more spectacular.  Mark your calendars for April 21, 2018 for the 22nd Annual Port to Fort 6K .  As always the funds that are   raise through the Port to Fort 6K allows our families to focus on their child's comfort and care during their time of medical crisis.

Get Involved - Wish of the Month

Believe In Tomorrow needs regular, weekly volunteer help at the Children's House at Johns Hopkins and our House at St. Casimir. This month we wish for volunteer van drivers.

Do you have a few hours per week of free time to volunteer as a driver?  If so, you would immensely help our day-to-day operations, by driving families to the local grocery store, airport, and general errands as needed!

If you are interested in fulfilling our Wish of the Month, please contact our Children's House at
410-614-2560 . Be sure to follow Believe In Tomorrow on Facebook and Instagram, and keep up-to-date with our Wednesday Wish of the Week!
