Geocaching 101 at Harris Lake County Park
Saturday, May 6;  2–3:30 p.m.
For ages 6 and up;  $1 per person
Geocaching is like a treasure hunt where participants use GPS coordinates to track down hidden “caches." Learn what geocaching is all about and head off to find a geocache in the park! We will provide GPS units and instruction on how to use them, but feel free to bring your own unit or smartphone with a geocache app.
Register early as class size is limited.
Meet at the Cypress Shelter.
All participants must be registered online.

  Nature Tots - Seasonal Discoveries
Monday, May 8; 10 - 10:30 a.m.
Ages 1-3 years with an adult; $2/child
Discover what is happening in nature each month through stories,
hands on activities, live critters and more.

Kids Discover Nature: 
April Showers Bring May Flowers
Monday, May 8;  11 - noon
Ages 3-7 years with an adult; $4/child
Discover how special flowers are to us, the plant itself and many pollinators. After a story, we will play a game, observe flowers in the park and make a craft that can be given to someone special on Mother's Day.
