The National Safety Council  and national nonprofit  Shatterproof  have collaborated with an independent research institution,  NORC at the University o f Chicago  to design "The Real Cost of Substance Use to Employers" tool.

This is an easy-to-use tool providing business leaders with specific information about the cost of substance use (including prescription drug abuse and misuse, alcohol abuse and misuse, opioid and heroin addiction as well as abuse of other illicit drugs and marijuana) in their workplace based on size of employee base, industry and state.

For more information, go to ncs.org or this  this link  to access the substance use  calculator  for employers.

Brochures available for coalitions
It is important to get the general public up to speed on what we know regarding safety issues with marijuana and Rx drugs in particular.  AC4C has worked with state partners to produce 10,000 brochures for statewide distribution.  The funds were provided through a ODCP- JAG Diversion grant and are available upon request.  You can also download the links below to access these brochures.

Limited quantities can be mailed by emailing us at [email protected]
