Bishop Karen Oliveto Revived the Hokey-Pokey
In case you haven't seen or heard, Bishop Karen Oliveto stopped by to preach and worship with us. This was a fantastic service, not just because of her generous and gregarious presence but because the house of Iliff is filled with talented people.

You know this but we want you to see and hear for yourself.

Dr. Hernández Celebrated

Students, staff, alumni, faculty, administration and trustees gathered around Dr. Albert Hernández and shared words of tribute, love and blessing. Dr. Miguel De La Torre even sent a video from Italy, in the form of Darth Vader. (You had to be there.)

We wish the Dean well on his sabbatical and we anxiously await his return to Iliff's classroom in his role as Associate Professor of History and Christianity. Take a look at the Dean cutting the cake at his reception here.

It's Not Too Late to Give In Honor of Potthoff's 106th!
We have been educating some and reminding other friends and members of the Iliff community about the generous and brilliant scholar, pastor and teacher, Harvey Potthoff.

In honor of what would have been his 106th birthday this year, our goal is to raise 106 gifts of $106 or any amount. Many of you, both his former students and people who never met him, have donated because of the importance of what he represents. Read about him here.

If you haven't had the chance to do so, you can send a gift by texting BIRTHDAY106 to 41444 or you can make an online gift here.
#WhyIliffiansGive

"I give because the world, now more than ever, needs love and grace and justice proclaimed and embodied. This love and justice happens through non-profits, religious institutions, and individuals who need our support to do this work.  I give in response to our Gospel call to love our neighbors."

Erin Power (MDiv, '14)

Please, let us know the reasons you give to any person or cause or for any reason at all. Email [email protected] or use #WhyIliffiansGive in a tweet to @iliffontheroad.
