May is National Water Safety Month &
National Bike Month

As America's swim instructor, the Y is the most accessible community resource to prevent drowning and encourage lifelong enjoyment of swimming teaching more than one million kids a year swimming and water safety skills across the country. Y swim lessons accommodate varying abilities to help foster a sense of achievement as swimmers progress through the levels. With this approach, advanced swimmers flow more easily to higher levels while swimmers who need more instruction can learn at their own pace, resulting in more confident swimmers.
Whether you bike to work, to school or just for fun, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of cycling and encourage more people to give it a try. Check out our Group Cycling Classes (free for Lincoln Y members)!
...And, It's Almost Outdoor Pool Time at the Y!

Outdoor Pools across the YMCA of Lincoln association are planned to open Saturday, May 26 at noon (weather permitting). Outdoor Pools are available at Cooper, Copple Family and Fallbrook. To view Outdoor Pool schedules and learn more, visit
